Unlocking a full audit report sets an access cookie for 12 hours. It lets you read the report and download its PDF without entering the password again. Signing out deletes this cookie.

When you request a free audit you give us three things: your business name, your website address and your e-mail address. They are what the audit is run on, and how we know where to send the result.

We process them on the basis of your own request — Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation. To protect the service from abuse we also store the time of the request and an irreversibly transformed IP address.

We use your e-mail address to send the audit and to answer questions about it. If we later write to you about our other services, every message will let you opt out of further ones.

We record whether the audit e-mail was delivered, whether its report link was followed, and whether you then requested the full audit or monthly work. This helps us make sure the result reached its recipient and improve our e-mails. Our e-mail delivery service also records when a message is opened; we do not keep those records in our own database. Link counts may also include checks made by e-mail security systems.

When applying for ChatGPT Ads, you provide your name, email, website and, optionally, a message about your offer. A full audit application asks for your website and email. We use these details to review your application and contact you about the service you requested.

We keep service applications for up to 12 months. Write to us if you would like yours deleted sooner.

We store data in the European Union wherever possible.

A free audit request, its results and the report we produce are kept for 12 months. After that they are deleted and the report link stops working.

We keep the full audit report, its evidence and PDFs for 12 months after publication. The link then stops working and we delete the files; we remove them earlier on request. We cannot delete copies you have downloaded or forwarded.

Rejected and duplicate requests are deleted within 30 days.

If you ask us to delete your data, we delete it at once.

Every report has a private link that search engines do not index. Anyone holding a free audit link can read that report. A full audit report and its PDF also require a password. Share the link, password and downloaded files only with people you trust.

You have the right to know what data we hold about you, to receive a copy of it, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to the processing.
